To do that you'd need WISP mode.
Which isn't supported in stock firmware.
the good thing is there's a strong 3rd party firmware support for the r7000.
I know that OpenWRT supports WISP mode.
And OpenWRT can be installed to the r7000. But since its 3rd party firmware, it wouldn't be supported on these forums.
