Router will not update?

Hi

 

Any body got any idea why my router will not update?

    What router do you have? 
    What firmware is on it? 

    where is it failing in the process?

      Hi

       

      Its a nighthawk x6s

       

      And when i go to myrouter etc it says A Router Firmware Upgrade Is Available

      I click on that and it says connecting to nightgear server, it then connects and says firmware is 1-4-1-50                                                              and New Firmware  is   1-4-1-68-1-3-28 i click Yes and it tells me the router is updating its firmware and then it reboots

      for a few mins.

      I then log out and when i log back in It says the same and when i update nothing happens lol

        I continuallly get a firmware notice and that I am current at 1.4.1.50 and the new version is 1.4.1.68_1.3.28 and I have updated it 5 times and it still says I'm at 1.4.1.50.

         

        My connected devices are not receiving the speeds the router is saying it has and it's affected everything.  I drop, the speeds are so slow that I cannot replay content on my dvr.  I have a store warranty and I'm about to return this to store to replace it. 

         

        It looks like others are having trouble with the firmware update as well.
