Routerlogin.net - constant password recovery

I just  bought a Netgear and found this to be annoying also. I found a solution: 

1. after logging in go to the Advance tab

2, select Administration on the left

3. select Set password

4. uncheck Password Recovery

5. problem solved

6. you'll get a warning about needing to restore to factory default if you can't remember your p/w.
