Samsung TV does not show ReadyCloud

Hi all,

I have tried to troubleshoot this for a while but I can't seem to find a solution.  My Samsung TV will now show ReadyShare as a source.  On the contrary, I am able to access the USB through \\readyshare and also through readycloud web portal.

The USB is detected when I logged in through routerlogin.net

The router firmware version is V1.0.9.88_10.2.88

Any help would be appreacited.

  • You put the R7000P in your signature but your firmware is for the R7000?

    Which do you have?

Are you trying to stream off your router to your tv? Most tv's require a dlna server to do this.  The most recent firmware (that your on) had the dlna server removed as well as itunes server, downloader, time machine, kwit, and tivo. It was removed so Netgear could add Armor.

You can downgrade the firmware if you'd like to get those functions back.

Wow. I’ve pulled my hair trying to figure this out for so long.

It used to work just fine before the update so that explains everything.

Are there specific instructions on downgrading the firmware?

downgrade over a hardwired connection and factory reset afterwards. I'd also probably do a manual install (not from backup).
