The only thing I see on Emersons website is the information below but I am not tech savvy enough to know what it means. Any help would be appreciated.

Your Sensi sends TCP traffic on ports 80, 8091 and UDP traffic on port 8092. To receive over-the-air firmware updates, please make sure UDP traffic to port 8092 (34.233.82.197) and TCP traffic to port 80 (52.55.206.183) is open. This traffic needs to be able to navigate any network firewalls, proxies, or filter devices.

Make sure the device you are using to provision the thermostat with is also connected to the R7800 via the 2.4 GHz band. If you have Smart Connect enabled on your R7800, you may have to disable it to allow separate individual SSID's for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
Smart Connect is under Advanced -> Setup -> Wireless Setup. This is also where you provide separate SSID's for the two frequency bands.

I have a separate SSID for 2.4 and do not enable Smart Switch so I cannot figure out what is going on.
How the connection works is
1. Connect Smartphone to the thermostat wifi.
2. Point thermostat to the 2.4 SSID and enter password
3. After that I get a provisioning error

- EScharnellNov 02, 2022AspirantI did. Hats where I got that port information but I am assuming the R7800 allows that?

If you need to disable Smart Connect, you'll need a PC and web browser and log into the routers web page and that setting is under Basic tab/Wireless Settings.
