Set up error EX6100v2 "couldn't authenticate connection"
Hi All
I am new but before posting this I have done extensive reading and research to find a solution but nothing seem to work,
My extender suddently stopped and I cannot even set it up, I have reset both the router & the EXT, still with the same error when trying to connect it as a new set up, I tried to do this via many devices and even through WPS, still the same error, I have an Optus Sagemcom 5366TN router not even 12 months old, everything works and connects to the router with no issues, appreciate any advice, thanks

What firmware is on the extender?
Are you able to connect to it for trying to install using the installation assistant (not wps)?

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the WiFi Extender products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with WiFi Extender products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Thank you.
