Setting up a Netgear AX1800

Question

I am trying to setup a Nighhawk 1800 router, as my previous Netgear router died on me. I am having trouble getting through the setupstage on my cell phone and my phone is only six inches to a foot away from the rouuter and I also just reset the password to it (so I know that exactly); I was prompted to turn off the data usage on my cell phone via the app (did that) and it still will not hook up. Any suggestions??????

a couple things.&nbsp;
1. AX1800 is a speed, not a model
2. if you go to netgear.com/support/&nbsp; type in your model. It'll take you to install manuals/guides/firmware
3. try hardwiring a pc/laptop into the router for setup. this goes quicker/easier much of the time.&nbsp;
