setting up internet port aggregation
Been thinking about setting up my rax80 router and my cm1200 modem for multi gig. Do I need to setup ethernet port aggregation before internet port aggregation? I'm a little comfused on the issue. Al...
Do you pay for 1.2gig service?
If not, I'd follow microchip8 advice and leave it.If you do, then what I've done prior is this.
have the browser open with a tab for both the modem and one for the router.
then I enable it in the modem. While its rebooting, I then enable it in the router and connect the 2x ethenet connections between the router/modem.
Usually works. Every once in a while when I do it, i have to power off the modem and router for 2 minutes, then power them back on (modem first, give it a couple minutes, then turn on the router). I haven't had any issues doing it this way.
