Setting up second router
So I have a xr500 and I want to use my old R6300 to extend my network. I set a static IP for my R6300 on the XR500 (not sure if i had to do anything on the R6300 after the static IP was setup on the X...

I click on the check box that said “enable AP mode.” The speeds weren’t fast for gaming so I thought cascading might be better. But i think I’ll just talk to netgear’s customer support since they may be less of a pretentious **bleep** than yourself

- Thanks. Quick question, when I put the router into AP mode, are my LAN ports supposed to stop working? While in AP mode, my router isn’t letting me connect to it by wire, only wireless WiFi is working on the router which is in AP mode?
