Setting up second router
So I have a xr500 and I want to use my old R6300 to extend my network. I set a static IP for my R6300 on the XR500 (not sure if i had to do anything on the R6300 after the static IP was setup on the X...

I click on the check box that said “enable AP mode.” The speeds weren’t fast for gaming so I thought cascading might be better. But i think I’ll just talk to netgear’s customer support since they may be less of a pretentious **bleep** than yourself
