Hi, I am having troubles with finding my NAS drives via Wifi. Since I moved my NAS drives to the location of my second router and connect the first router to the internet and all my mobile devic...
Just to close this topic: Got the solution working by using a Netgear powerline set. It provides internet access to my router located ad the TV and works flawlessly. Wireless AC is not the answer to everything, I realize ;-)

What are NAS drives?
Network Attached Storage. Harddrives with video and music on them to share over wifi.
Ok ...How are they connected to the network?
Bridge mode disables routing and I believe routing is required to use any of those ready share features. A true NAS connects to the network via a LAN port and doesn't require any ready share gimmicks to function. A harddrive plugged into a USB port is not or shouldn't be referrred to as a NAS, In my opinon anyway.
If you have a true NAS and cannot find it when it's connected to a bridge then you found another weak link with Netgear Bridge mode it's unreliable and has to rebooted every few days or client hanging off the bridge loose connection.
Ap mode is the best option, but requires a data cable between router and the AP.
