Sharp Decrease in Download Speed?

Question

So, my old router died and so I bought a netgear AC1000, model number R6080. When I did, I noticed I was only getting half of my previous download speeds, but it was still respectable enough not to notice any real problems. Since then, my wifi card died on my computer, and I replaced it with the exact same model. Now, I'm getting half again my speeds, for only a quarter of what my previous download speeds were. I'm using the 5G bandwidth the whole time, so what gives, and how can I fix this? If it matters, my ISP is Spectrum omegle

2. what speeds are you getting over a wired connection to the router?
3. what speeds are you getting over 2.4gh? and over 5ghz? (2.4ghz is a slow network)
4. what wireless card did you put in your computer?
5. have you tried multiple sites?&nbsp;
