Slow broadband speed on extender

Have normal download speed of 65+ Our 2-3 year old extender has decided to take it easy and we achieve download speed of 16!! Not techno savvy - any quick ideas to resolve- apart from new extender...

The WN3000RP is more like 10 years old. With wifi specifications from that era.

 

Even the newest version dates back to 2015.

 

Is that really what you own?
