Slow internet R6900p

Spectrum has given me a new modem and I ungraded my internet to 300m. But I can only get 60m out. This router is 5-7 years old and when I do an internal test it gives me 200+m. Any suggestions?

    Some standard background questions:

     

    What device are you using to test the throughput?  Windows?  Mac?  Android?  iOS?

     

    What application are you using to test the throughput?  Website with a browser?  Stand alone application?

     

    What is the brand name and model number of your new Spectrum modem?  Look on the label.

     

    What is the firmware version installed on your R6900P?  The Latest is not an answer.  Version number needed for confirmation.
