Slow Internet Speed Issue with My WiFi Router - Need Help!
I'm having the exact same issue with my WiFi router, and it's driving me crazy! My internet speed has gone from fast to painfully slow, and it's causing issues with streaming and online gaming.I have a Router that's been working great for a while, so I'm not sure why it's acting up now. My internet plan is [Internet Plan Name], which is supposed to be pretty speedy, so that shouldn't be the problem either.I've got a bunch of devices connected to my network like smartphones, laptops, smart TVs, and a bunch of IoT devices, but this slowdown is a recent development. And I've already placed my router in the best possible spot in my home, so I don't think it's an issue with iate. I even ran speed tests on all my devices, and they all show slower speeds than they should.I'm not super tech-savvy, so I'm really hoping someone here can give me some advice on how to fix this. Do you think it could be a hardware problem with the router? Or is there something else I should be looking into?

Hard to tell without some details about your setup.
What is this Netgear router that you use? Look at the label on it for the Model Number.
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". There may be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
If there is one it might also help if you told people the make and model number of the modem/gateway/ONT that sits between this router and the Internet. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
I ask because a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.
