Slow internet speed on R6900v2 on ethernet

Question

my modem is a Surfboard SB8200, I have a down load of about 900 directly into the modem. when i use the router, my download speeds stay in the 400-500 range. my up is 15.... cables all good, modem and router both less than 6 months old. through the xbox series x same issue, since it all goes through the router its slowing it down about half. why? wtf do i do?

Make sure to disable qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls.&nbsp;
If that doesn't help, try factory resetting and reinstalling. during the install, test speeds in the default configuration
