Sofware

I bought a Nighthawk M1 wifi router, but I couldn't find the software to install it. Can anyone help me. Where one might think to find the softwares, they are in fact user manuals compressed in spk. In the small manual supplied with the device, the internet address is no longer valid. Thank you

Not sure what software you are referring to. In case you look for the mobile Apps for iOS (iPhone, iPad) or Android mentioned in the Quick Start Guide, the Netgear Mobile App is readily available from the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store. Alternate, both platform Apps are available from the download section, too.

The MR1100 – Nighthawk M1 Mobile Router support pages (this is the retail version - several other mobile carrier versions exist!) does offer both a [Download] and [Documentation] section for a reason. The spk file you refer to is firmware, and in no way an archive containing documentation. The documentation path is your friend for User Guides and Documentation.

Indeed, the http://netgear.com/mobileapps resp the URL linked on the online QSG doc http://www.netgear.com/AirCardApps seem to be lost in the recent Web update Negear is working on these days. Nothing the community can change. I hope a moderator Blanca_O does move the post to the Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems section and pick up the dead URL issue from the QSG hopefully.
