Stable firmware recommendations for R7500v2
Hello. In your experience, which firmware is the most stable for the AC2350 R7500v2 router? For me the most stable has been 1.0.3.26, but it's quite old and have some vulnerabilities. Later versions have shown issues (mainly connection drops when several concurrent video meetings).
I've tried latest DD-WRT releases (latest being r45849 02/25/2021) but have some issues specially with 2.4GHz band. Not tested OpenWRT or other firmwares yet.

In reply to your response I found any firmware to my r7500v2 above 1.0.3.38 starts to drop connection and disconnect from my Internet without giving any errors. I think NetGear deliberaly trashed the firmware forcing users to buy newer NetGear wifi devices. I think this is their plan to force users whom find working hardware to fail them so they are forced to upgrade. I know this because I even tried their latest firmware and within hours connections gets dropped for no reasons. So when I forced downgrade to 1.0.3.38 all connections came back and no dropped connections. Overtime I have to restart the router but beyond that ever since .38 update I had no issues with internet or ISP. So this comes down to NetGear delibrarly trashing a good router to make people think something is wrong and buy a new router. So if your trying go only up to 1.0.3.38 and stop there.
