Static Public IP on a MR60

I'm currently sitting behing a CGNAT so I requested a static IP from my carrier so I can open up some ports on my router.

When I plug in the provided IP, Subnet mask & GW info I can ping the internal private GW @ 192.168.1.1, & I can ping the provided static IP on the WAN interface.

I however, cannot ping the ISP provided GW. I'm assuming I need a default route, however, when I try to configure a default route in such a manner I get a dialog box stating the following

192.168.1.1 says

Invalid subnet mask. Please enter it again

Invalid Destination IP Address, please enter it again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you have a fixed WAN (public) IP address you need to enter that into the router in the Internet settings.

Check the bit in the manual:

Manually set up the Internet connection

    and then

    Use Static IP Address.

Is that what you are doing?
