1. I've heard there's a firmware in the works but its not ready for general release.
2. some of the issues were fixed with simply enabling ipv6 and rebooting the router. Have you tried that?
3. the one we usually refer people to if ipv6 doesn't fix the issue is the 1.4.1.68 version. you can try installing that and doing a factory reset/reinstall.

Plemans,
Thank you for your speedy response. It strikes me as rather odd that enabling IPv6 might solve a problem on an internet populated with IPv4 devices.
Nevertheless, I'll try it tomorrow to avoid disturbing curent network activity here at home.Best regards!

For some of the devices, they default to searching ipv6 addresses first and it gives an error because for some reason, its not defaulting back to ipv4 when the ipv6 doesn't go through. Not every ones was resolved with that fix but for some it did. So its worth trying.

For now, activating IPv6 seems to have reduced the frequency of the error. I'll try to live with this solution rather than downgrade to an earlier firmware version.
However, I definitely hope that Netgear will be releasing a firmware update that solves the problem soon.Best regards,
Eric

I have rolled back to .40
the 2 after that both have the "site not found" issue. So tired of this. This is no a cheap router to buy.

Enabling IPv6 works as a work around for recent FW versions.
