Sudden drop in throughput
Late last week, noticed internet slow. Troubleshooting eliminated everything except the Router. NBN connection is AussieBBS 250Gb download speed. For the last 3 days best performance has been 30G...

try factory resetting it.
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
Then during the install, make sure to leave qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls all disabled.

OK Please read carefully before replying to save us both time :-)
I have tried everything listen in Netgear support including
All 3 methods of reset
Tftp load of previous firmware.
None of the resets changed anything.
Tftp failed (tried > 5 times, including using different Tftp clients)
When trying to connect to an isolated router (only connected to PC) get error message
"routerlogin.net not working - failed to send any data"Process for trying to connect includes entering default IP address 192.168.1.1 into browser window
watching the following appear
www.routerlogin.net/start.html
www.routerlogin.net/genie_index.html
message "www.routerlogin.net did not send any data"
When ever I managed to get a login prompt (i.e. trying to acces via WiFi) I get a incorrect password response to entering "password"
Downloaded Nighthawk app to mobile phone...
Phone app cannot find router

So it seems like things have changed. Before you could access it and it worked but just slow.
Now its not accessible at all and your not able to log into it?
Just wanting to clarify?
what firmware did you try to push to it?

Could access router, but it was only accessing internet at 10% of cacapity - Router was the bottleneck
Router has latest firmware running.
Tried Factory Rest (every method list - do ask me to enumerate again)
After attempting factory reset could NOT aaccess router.
Every attempt met with the previous messages listed.
Nothing changed from full speed access to INternet 2+ weeks ago, to now.
ONLY CHANGE attempting to reset router.
