Turns out it was the NAS was the source of error. Did a fabric reset that solved everything

Cant ping nas from any clients. Have rebooted and fabric reset router. Used saved setup. Only error message is that share is not available, or nas not avsilable. Only available via beowser

Have you set up the home group? How about access right? Every one is allowed to access? Funny thing is it used to work
you say.. Double check access right issue with or without password.

Can't ping... ping times out? Do you use Synology NAS assistant? Does it do the same thing? Run ip scan and double confirm the NAS
ip address is still 192.168.1.8,,,,,, no chance of ip address conflict here?

Correct, ping times out.
NAS assistant cant find the NAS.
Adress confirmed the same.
I look in netgear geenie in network hood.
Only NAS has that IP.
Think i have to do a complete reset of the router, and not use the saved settings.
