Hi, thank you for your reply. It hasn't quite worked, as the issue of lease time raised its head. I need to cut all the leases to 5 minutes and start again as my sttaic IPs all got broken. So not quite solved yet.
plemans wrote:your correct, if both are running in router mode, it causes a double nat. We usually have a couple things we recommend for fixing that. Disabling dhcp on the netgear is one route.

Brilliant, thank you. I needed to reset the router to purge all the NVRAM and so on but once that was done it has settled into AP mode beautifully. I had originally been concerned that the output would only be on wifi as the manual is a bit unclear but I now have great 1Gb ethernet as well. I have saved the configuration for both purposes. Always save your configuration somewhere - it's essential. Many thanks.
