This flaky update fixes security updates, but breaks the ability to add a static IP address

This flaky update fixes security updates, but breaks the ability to add a static IP address.  It is "KNOWN ISSUE" to you guys, but new to me after an hour and a half futzing with it.  Only to discover, downgrade to previous version, add static IP's, then upgrade to flaky 1.4.4.94.  Come on Netgear, this is a $400 router.  Always problems with Netgear firmware mis-updates.  When will it EVER be fixed? Its been almost 6 months.

You gave us nothing to go off.

There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
    Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.

    What router model was $400?
