tp2 router to connect microwave wifi to Samsung tv with Netflic
Our internet connection is via microwave and I want to connect our Samsung TV which has the Netflix channel
to our wifi router to watch movies. Our reseach shows a router with "tp2" is necessary. Our router is model
R6080 and I don't know if it has tp2. Our tv is via AT&T satellite and they don't carry Netflix. We are about to
get a new iMac - ours is ten years old - and want to get a router with tp2 to connect to the tv. Looking
at router descriptions I don't find a mention of tp2, so how does one make sure the router has it?

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for General Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with older routers and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/General-WiFi-Routers-Non/bd-p/home-wifi-routers-generalI would check the spec sheet and user manual to see if this model router supports what your looking for. Something to ask the ISP about to see what model routers have this feature.
Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

You say you did research to find out you needed "tp2".
I've never heard of tp2.
What is this research and where did it come from.
Many people use broadcast internet and it works fine. So not sure exactly what issue you're actually having
