It might depend on how the second R7000 is configured. If it is an AP mode, then the router handles traffic.
The reason I'm asking is that I've tried looking at the network devices not only through the main router but also IP scanning utilities and I get different results. It's difficult enough with various devices identifying themselves by parent company or not identifying themselves at all.
As well as IP scanning, you could check Mac addresses. That can narrow things down to the maker.

To help with these things, Netgear has a well hidden tool that to would like to kill off. The desktop genie for Windows and Macs has a neat network map that shows what is connected to what.
Click on a device for further details and to rename it.
