Trouble setting up VPN on Netgear Nighthawk R7000

Another thought is the settings on your gateway/modem that is upstream of your R7000. My ISP is Comcast and my gateway is an Arris TG3482G. I have the gateway configured in bridge mode. Some gateways call it a bridge or VPN bypass mode.

My WiFi is off when I try to connect.
Indeed at the begining I hadn't set up DDNS because I have static IP but now I set it up and with the latest connections I see the DDNS works and the latest profile at least tries to connect to my IP address.
I also have selected access to all sites on the internet and home network.
But still no joy, I can not make a connection, it is always trying to connect.
What else can I try?

Checked that as well, I switched my modem from router mode to modem only mode. But still nothing.
OK after I changed the modem from router mode to modem only mode and I reboted everything finally I managed to get a connection! For the first time there is a vpn succesful connection. But for the moment I don't have any internet! It says connected but internet is offline?
Finally got it to work. I rebooted everything again and finally works!
