Trying to find IPv4
I’m trying to figure out my IPv4 address, but I’m only able to see a generic 10.0.0.10 address. How do I find the real one?

That looks like the local IP address of the device on your own network. It is one of the defaults for local devices. Netgear usually goes for 192.168.1.1. It moves on to something like 10.0.0.10 if it finds something else – maybe another router – already using 192.168.1.1.
But you may also be referring to your IP address on the Internet, the one that your ISP hands out.
You don't say what Netgear device you have, but somewhere in its browser graphical user interface (GUI) you will find the IP Address of your Internet Port.
Point a browser at 10.0.0.10 and see what happens.
Look in
- Settings
- Advanced
- Connection Status
Then there is the link that Kitsap provided.
