trying to reset my wifi name and password on nighthawk r7000
All I know is resetting a password should be easier than this. I bought this router in 2018 and never changed the name and password that came with it. Now I would like to. I have the nighthawk app...
I had tried before using the instructions about resetting the router and did. I had thge computer connected via ethernet cable and had the wifi connection turned off. After doing that and clearing the browser cache I still get the same screen with the images and the option/suggestion to download the app (left side of page) or to shop for a router (right side of page)

I had scrolled and never saw any link at the base of the screen you mentioned on that https://www.routerlogin.net/ page.
Ill try again to reset the router but I will very likely end up with that same screen.

If there is one it might help if you told people the make and model number of the modem/gateway/ONT that sits between this router and the Internet. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
I ask because a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.
It can get in the way of your access to things like routerlogin.net.
