Trying to run a USB on my old Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800
I ditched Comcast/Xfinity due to weeks of no service due to a snowstorm.
Went with fiber and supplied my old trusty Nighthawk R7800. Router is from Dec 2016, lightly used 2016-2018.
Plugged in my external hard drive and am having issues accessing it. From Netgear's website, it looks like the app ReadyCloud/ReadyShare is discontinued. Is there a new service that would work with this router, or do I need a new router? Is there a way to access my drive on Wifi without ReadyShare? TY!

It is ReadyCloud that they killed. ReadyShare lives on.
But you do have to persuade Windows to use it.
