Trying to use my Netgear Nighthawk X4S R7800 with an Intrusion Detection System (IDS)

Hi everyone,

I currently have a Zyxel switch, a Netgear Nighthawk X4S R7800, and a raspberry pi v4 running Suricata Intrusion Detection System (IDS). I am interested in how to configure the router to mirror all traffic to the switch, and then have the data go to the Raspberry Pi with Suricata. Like this:

Should I configure the Netgear to have a Bridged mode like here? Would this even be possible? Would it be better to use a Linux firmware on the Netgear router instead? Open to any suggestions on whether this is possible!
