Trying to Use R7000 with United giga Blast router/modem
ok, to preface, i am not internet tech savy. i dont know terms or anything, so please explain like you are talking to a child lol. so i recently moved into a new house that came with a nighthawk r700...

What equipment did they provide? A modem? Modem router? Gateway? Make and model?
How fast is the new Internet service? What is it DSL, cable or optical to you?
The R7000 was OK in 2017, when it came out. If the ISP supplied something newer, the tech may not be quite right.
