It's the R8000, no idea why the Signature says R8000P, I registered the serial number, but the box clearly says Nighthawk X6 AC3200 R8000.
Currently it runs on Firmware V1.0.3.54_1.1.37, after having tried 1.0.4.28 as suggested in another solution in the forum. Obviously also the latest Firmware does not work.
Modem is just your default ISP (local provider) Broadband Modem with integrated WiFi router. I dont have any issues with Internet, all configured fine and when I connect any device via LAN all works fine.
I managed to get one device to connect with no internet, but only after I have assigned a static IP to the NIC with a 16 bit netmask prefix instead of the 24 bit that the router IP address is and DHCP should provide. If I set the NIC to DHCP I always get "Unable to connect to the Network".

What actual modem is it? if it has integrated wifi its a modem/router combo device.
running multiple routers can cause issues. Its called a double nat.

have you tried the R8000 in access point mode?
I'd upgrade the firmware to at least the 1.0.4.28 firmware. Its the version prior to netgear armor. the Latest is 1.0.4.68.
If you upgrade, do a factory reset and then during the install, put it in access point mode.

The ISP modem is not the problem because a) all works fine with wired connection from the R8000 to device, b) it worked before just fine with the R6000 before suddenly it didnt about 2 weeks ago and c) it's exactly the same when I put the ISP modem in bridge mode.
As I said, wired is all fine. If double NATing was the issue that wouldnt work either. But only Wifi doesnt let anything connect.
I dont want to use the AP mode, I bought a router to use routing features. If I use only the AP mode, this was a tremendous waste of money.

Its easy to say its not the problem if you haven't tried it.
Sadly, not all isp device work properly in passthrough/bridge/modem only mode. the ISP isn't exactly encourged to buy the highest quality devices.
its why sometimes we say try putting the isp device in router mode and the netgear in access point mode.

I understand your point but I wouldnt say it doesnt work if I hadnt tried it with a modem-only device (cable modem > Router > Clients).
Same result on the latest firmware as well as 1.0.4.28 and 1.0.3.54.
Plus, why would wired connections be fine if it would be the issue you described?
