Unable to download windows updates when connected to r7000
I have an odd issue. Starting a couple of months ago I can no longer download windows updates when connected to the router. This is true for all PC's in my home (4). Windows update will recognize that there are updates available, but remains at 0% download progress. Bypassing the router immediately starts the download. I have tried updating to latest firmware (1.0.11.116) and also reset to factory default, but still the same problem. Any idea what could be causing this? I never had issues like this in the past.

Have you tried a different dns provider?
Try googles at 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
cloudfare: 1.1.1.1
what modem/gateway do you have?
I am connected to a smart hub ZTE MF279T, and I have already tried Cloudfare and Google both on router level and device.
that hub has its own integrated router functions.
do you have it in passthrough/modem only mode?
or the Netgears IP address in its DMZ?
or the netgear in access point mode?otherwise you're running a double nat.
