I was able to fix the issue by doing a factory reset of my Netgear Nighthawk R7960P router.
Here's what I did:
1. Uninstall my Nighthawk app
2. Factory reset of my router
3. Reinstall the Nighthawk app
Hope this helps. Thanks to everyone who responded.

Something seems to have broken the iPhone app. Lots of reports around here. Try the "apps" section.
It isn't clear if it is something that Apple did or if it is Netgear being slow to catch up with things.
- frenchcamp49erJan 27, 2021StarI really think it’s a Netgear issue as I tried it on an iPhone with an older iOS version and got the same result

Quick question. Are we all using the same router model? Mine is R9000 and using firmware v1.0.5.18 (not latest) and using iOS 14.4 with latest Nighthack app and I haven't got this issue at all.
I was on iOS 14.3 yesterday and older Nighthawk app when I saw this thread and didn't have any problems either. So I don't think is app related but a combination of router firmware, app and network where router is.

That makes sense. The trouble is that it is hard to pin down the exact sequence. People see an update and automatically assume that this caused the problem.
Something more subtle may well be in play here. That's why it helps to provide as much detail as possible.
If it is a firmware issue, then rolling back to earlier versions should restore functionality.
Unfortunately, it is probably harder to go back to an earlier app version. Android and iOS don't seem to allow that.
