    I was able to fix the issue by doing a factory reset of my Netgear Nighthawk R7960P router.

    Here's what I did:

    1.  Uninstall my Nighthawk app

    2.  Factory reset of my router

    3.  Reinstall the Nighthawk app

    Yes, the firmware updated automatically when I did the factory reset, which was the same firmware that I had.

    Also, I used the app to install the router settings instead of doing it on the desktop.
