Unable to route to Internet on R7800 unless DHCP server is on.

I re-IPed my house with a range: 172.25.100.0/24   I changed the IP address on my router to 172.25.100.1   I changed my DHCP server (a pi-hole) to give out addresses between 172.25.100.100 and 17...

    Well, I fixed it.  It a case of the fat fingers.  The Pi-Hole default gateway had a comma instead of a period  in it.

     

    So, it was DNS and human error.

Thanks for the tip.  I'm debating getting a WiFi 6 router.

    One could get something WiFi 6 or 6E and connect in AP Mode via ethernet connection to the R7800 if you want to keep the R7800 working as a router.
