Unable to upload images from my Canon EOS R5 to the internet through my Nighthawk R7000 (Err 127)
I use a Nighthawk R7000 / AC1900 router. I recently purchased a Canon EOS R5 camera. One of its features is the ability to wirelessly upload photos to Canon's image.canon website. If I tether my came...

I find that Canon's wifi feature isn't the easiest to set up.
Can you connect the camera to the SSID on the R7000?
Is it just to Canon's website? I haven't used that in some time.
Seems to work just fine here. But I have an Orbi router in the middle.
Maybe I'll see what the R7800 and R7000P can do.
What firmware do you have on the R7000?

Thanks for taking the time to respond, Michael. Your questions are answered in line below.
Can you connect the camera to the SSID on the R7000?
Yes. I can successfully connect to both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks on my R7000.
Is it just to Canon's website?
Yes, though image.canon is the only internet site I have tried to connect to. I am able to wirelessly connect to my HP workstation on my local network using EOS Utility. On the R5, this is a different setting in the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection menu ("Upload to Web service" vs "Remote Control (EOS Utility)").
Interestingly, I am able to connect my R5 to image.canon using my iPhone X's wifi hotspot. I had originally assumed this was because I was bypassing the R7000, but after further consideration I realize that my iPhone has been connected to my wifi network while tethering so the R5 was still accessing the internet through the R7000 using the iPhone X as an intermediary.
What firmware do you have on the R7000?
V1.0.9.88_10.2.88

I don't know if this is a solution so much as it is a workaround. I discovered that connecting to my R7000's guest network instead of using my normal login, the R5 connects immediately and works as expected. I don't know why this makes a difference. If anyone has an explanation I would be interested. When it comes to router configuration, I am pretty ignorant.
