Just set DHCP or Static IP on the routers Internet setup page. The Router gets the IP address from the MODEM and ISP services. Then this gets converted to a LAN side IP address for each device connected. Each device connected to the router gets a slightly different LAN side IP address. The Router maintains the WAN side IP address is all. Devices connected to the router don't need a static IP address. Just let them get the LAN side IP address from the router and access the internet normally is all that is needed.
