Updated X6 Firmware and now password won't work

Hi,   I logged into my X6 R8000 and successfully updated the firmware to my iMzc.  Now my password for the router will not work. Help!   Tom

Maybe the password has been reset back to the factory default?   Have you already tried typing "password" in the password field(or whatever the default password is for your model)?

Yes, i knew that the nuclear option was to reset but was trying to avoid it.  Thanks for your help.
