Lets start with what do you have for a NG router? Model please.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.Do you see same issues if you remove the NG router and connect directly to the ISP modem or ONT with a wired PC?

PS No one has provided credible evidence that cables have anything to do with problems that turn up here, so don't rush out to spend more money until you have ruled put more plausible possibilities.
