UPNP broken in Netgear R7800 on firmware 1.0.2.68
Hello Netgear community, hope you're all doing well. I'm writing this post just acknowledge that, as per my prior experience with the firmware (V1.0.2.68), the Upnp isn't functioning, and I would...

No, unfortunately they didn't fix that one.

UPNP not working
my Synology server does not recognize as UPNP router.
If you have deactivated UPNP for safety reasons, please delete this function.

For me, DLNA (uPnP) was working on 1.0.2.68. Then I turned it off, and then turned it back on. From since then, uPnP stopped working - all my videos cannot be streamed. Not only that, SMB access to videos also stopped working for my iPhone and iPad, even though SMB is still working on my macOS. Tried a lot of reboots / configs but can't work. Downgraded to 1.0.2.62 and every video on uPnP and SMB streamed well. Upgraded back to 1.0.2.68 and every video just stopped streaming again. I am now on 1.0.2.62..
I wonder what settings are different..

Oh ya, they did fix the UPNP on version 1.0.2.78, I can confirm it. Bitcomet is green again, I wonder what happened in version .74 & .68?

ok, I will test it by today or tomorrow and give a reply here.

Unfortunately the situation repeats itself in firmware 1.0.2.90
UPNP has stopped working again.
Is there any way to get a port forwarding list in place quickly? I have about 80 items to enter.- FURRYe38Aug 17, 2022Guru - Experienced User
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What devices do you have connected?
How is the router configured?
How are you determining that uPnP is failing?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
You can try Voxels FW.
