Use Netgear AC1900 modem router C7000v2 as repeater as another fiber modem is connected
Hi Community,
Thank you for the help in advance.
I have recently move to an apartment where Modem+router is provided by Internet company Xfinity.
The connection is very weak in other rooms. May be the range is not good enough.
I have a spare Netgear AC1900 modem router C7000v2 which is want to use as a REPEATER/Range extender so all the rooms are covered.
I followed below article but not able to find few settings under Advanced Setup > Router/AP/Bridge/Repeating Mode.
https://kb.netgear.com/24108/How-do-I-enable-the-extender-mode-feature-on-my-Nighthawk-router
My router doesnt have Router/AP/Bridge/Repeating Mode Option
Need help. Thanks

If you can arrange an Ethernet (or
equivalent) connection between the C7000v2 and your (unspecified) main
router, then you might try to configure your C7000v2 as a wireless
access point. See, for example:- https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/x/m-p/1463500 - That's written for a Netgear C6300-as-WAP, but the steps are about the
same for any other router (any make/model) which lacks a one-step WAP
option. (I'd expect a C7000[vX] to be very similar.)
