Using AC2300 Nighthawk Model#R7000P as wired WiFi extender through Netgear switch (GS308)
From what I understand this should be possible. I want to use the R7000P as a wired WiFi extender with little configuration and as low maintenance as possible. Please clarify my terminology if needed...

The phrase is "wireless access point".
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "Use the Router as a
WiFi Access Point".> ISP Router <wired-to> GS308 <wired-to> R7000P
The network switch should be harmless.
