VPN Access with OpenVPNConnect

Let me say that I have the VPN access working with "OpenVPN" client. 
I can connect and navigate around my home network as if I was there.

My question is: How can I connect to my home network with another VPN client???

Right now I have several VPN's that I access with my laptop and they are all listed in OpenVPNConnect software.

OpenVPNconnect is made by the same people that make OpenVPN but the interface is much simpler and put all my VPN's in a handy place where I can just toggle them on and off.

(Plus  it seems rather strange that I have to change the name of the virtual adapter in order for Netgears VPN to work properly)

Has anyone managed to get VPN access to Netgear R8000 using another VPN Client?
