Vulnerablity scan will not run on Netgear Armor
Has any one had any scanning issues with Armor? My devices has not initiated a vulenerablity scan for any devices to include IoT devices that I have on my network. It is a Night Hawk R7000P firm ware version is v1.3.1.64. Actions taken:
1. Power cycle
2. Removed all devices from Armor, disabled Armor, then power cycled and enabled Armor, added devises back.
3. Tried to update firmware but device is already at current release.

Similar experience. I can't say something as simple as "It is not performing vulnerability scans" because on computers where I have BD installed, I run vulnerability scans and they appear to run just fine. They just don't show as having been run on the Device dashboard. Only a small number of smart devices even seem to be recognized and only one of the 6 recognized shows as having been scanned. From my vantage point, the advertising about what this product does is aspirational, not a product description. I have raised to support and they've had me do the things you've done and capture debug info, but haven't responded with anything. Disappointing that it does not work as advertised and I've been looking for help for some time. I can imagine that it's difficult coordinating support between the 2 companies, but, that shouldn't be a customer-visible issue.
- ryanandrewAspirantYeah I have been fighting this for a while too. I am thinking about canceling my sub at this point. I do like the end point security that you can install on Windows and Android devices. However I was more interesting in Armor for the Network vulnerablity scans that scan Lot items such as IP cameras. I didn't want to do this beacuse I am pretty lazy when it comes to building my own solutions but I will proably move to Pfsense for a firewall, ddwrt for my APs, and i will also be looking at Nessus or Openvas for network vulnerablity scans. I hate to put this much work into my home network but Netgear hasn't given me much choice.
