Wake on wireless LAN - 7960P

My new Samsung smart TV goes offline when I turn it off and I'm not able to turn it on with the Samsung app. I'm told that my router might be blocking the wake on wireless LAN and/or magic packet, not allowing my phone to send the "turn on" request to the TV. I can't find a setting for that. Can someone help with it please?
