Want to add a wired Access Point to existing system. What should I get??

best options? Switch to a mesh system like orbi. its designed for wired backhaul.
The extenders don't work as a mesh when ran in ap mode.
You can run them with the same ssid but they'll be "sticky" in that devices won't roam. They'll tend to stick to the same ssid until the signal drops/gets unusable.
