What sort of mess have we got???
Had internet issues for a few days with my Netgear router getting painfully slow. Decided to investigate and I'm still pretty much dead in the water. It works ok in AP mode but will not connect ...

1. what router is it?
2. what firmware is on it?
3. the superhub is a modem/router combo device. Cascading routers is a recipe for issues. it causes a double nat.

It's an R7800. It was running 1.0.82 but I loaded 1.0.68.
The hub *was* in modem mode but the router just said it couldn't detect the internet connection. I put the hub back in normal mode and the router in AP mode. That seems to give some devices and connection to the outside world but that where I have this mess. I mean, what sort of maniac thinks that a constantly refreshing list which moves around is a good idea?
