Why is R7000 Beta FW 1.0.5.60 (New beta) not on NG servers?

The new R700 Beta is on Google Drive. Why?

 

Who put it there and is it SAFE??? From the posting I assume ElaineM, the moderator did but again, why not on the 'normal' NG site?

    IrvSp It's safe to download. Anyhow, it's now been changed.

    Let me know if there's a problem downloading it.

    Not sure why it's GD.. I'm running it. It works. No malbots.. I run it the R7000 in AP mode, so don't ask me what's fixed, etc..

        Thank you for responding and even moving it Elaine.

         

        Since I didn't know the origin of the file I had to ask why, you can never tell if it was hacked and then placed there.

         

        I've got the file and will probably load it tomorrow when the use is down in the morning.
