Same problem here after upgrade to V1.0.9.18_1.2.27 Wifi doesn't work for my mobile devices (Samsung S7 and Xiaomi redmi note 4) but works ok with Mac book and Mac book pro. Reboots do not seems to clear it (temporarily) for me. So downgrading now. Looks like a pretty big regression problem. (Unless this is a flaw in Android on the client side)
- Also the hotfix V1.0.9.20_1.2.28 does not solve this problem
- Factory reset and restore of the con figuration also does not solve this problem.

Going back to V1.0.9.14_1.2.25 solves the problem immediately (no factory reset / reread config needed).
Now figuring out how to file a bug with Netgear

I'm not so hot about downgrading my security patches to keep this up and running. But i'm also not so happy about buying new gear to keep up and decommissioning my perfectly good router.

You do not need to buy a new router. Option 1, wait for the new firmware from NG. Option 2, flash an alternative stable firmware.

Well in my case I have over 35 wireless devices in my home including a Ring doorbell and several Chromcasts that I rely on for entertainment. So waiting isn't much of an option for me. I picked up an Orbi 3 pack at Costco, added all my MacID (close to 50) addresses and I'll return it after all the smoke clears. Or not.
